Sorry it's been so long since I've posted we've been busy! Ryan found a really great deal on a hotel in Las Vegas that he really likes so we drove down for a few days. We had a blast! We went to the Bellagio Buffet which is a bit pricey but totally worth it. We had to go walk around for a couple of hours afterwords.
We also found a pinball museum that has a ton of different really old pinball games and old video arcade games you can play for a quarter. They also had a couple of new games. It was a lot of fun. We went to Trader Joe's, which is always fun. If you've never heard of it it is a health food store that has a lot of neat food items. We bought some dried fruit and some nuts and vegetable chips that are really good! We also found an international market that was as big as a warehouse. they had all kinds of food imported from China, Japan, Switzerland, Germany and many other places. it was fun. We bought some really yummy candy bars and we found pumpkin gnocchi that was really good.
Some of our friends that live in St. George came down with their kids to visit us while we were there and we all went swimming at our hotel. It was fun to hang out with them. They went to the Bellagio with us for dinner.
Right before we left to go to Vegas Ryan discovered some grubs in our lawn. :( They ate the roots of about 30% of our front lawn. We did two different treatments and they still didn't die so we paid a guy in our ward to get rid of them. Hopefully they are gone. Now we have to pull out the dead patches of grass and put some seed down. Not fun! Luckily we figured out that it was grubs and not just dry patches before they ate our whole lawn!
